These projects were realized in Vilnius, Lithuania 2005, as a personal practices and studies of patience with self-created rules.
8 HOURS IN FRONT OF A DESK
(7th of october 2005, 11.54 – 19.54)

Sitting in front of my workdesk for 8 hours. Equipment used: A4 papers, handkerchiefs, camera, 3 marker pens, mobile phone (used only as a clock), 2 glasses of water, tape. Existing documents: photographs, drawings and writings made during the 8 hours. |
8 HOURS OF WALKING TOWARDS NORTH
(11th of october 2005, 11.10 – 19.10)


With the help of compass walking in the direction of north for 8 hours using roads and paths. Walking pace was normal or slow. I finished about 30 kilometres from Vilnius center. Equipment used: compass, map, camera, mobile phone (used only as a clock), handkerchiefs, 1l of water, 2 slices of bread with cheese, 40 g chocolatebar. Existing documents: Photographs, text written after the walk, map with the route marked. |

Finally I found the center of Europe.
